Dust off a seat and discuss a good book here...you do read, right?

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment

I have not been able to put this book down.  It amazes me, keeps me in suspense, makes me thirsty for adventure.

For those who don't know what it is about, the first book in the MAXIMUM RIDE series is about Max and her gang-Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel-trying to live normal lives.  They are only 98% human.  2% is bird DNA.  They managed to escape the twisted, sick School, the place where true mad scientists want to operate on them, dissect them, treat them like lab rats.  So far, they've been okay.

But recently, little Angel was kidnapped by the Erasers, a pack of half-wolf, half-human monsters, who brought her back to the School.  Now they must rescue her.  Not clear enough?  Here's Max's To-Do-List:

* Protect the rest of her gan from a pack of bloodthirsty Erasers

*Rescue Angel from a crew of complete wack-jobs\

*Infiltrate a secret facility to track down their missing parents

*Figure out what she really thinks about Fang

*Get revenge on the one person she thought she could trust

*Discover the best chocolate-chip cookie in New York City

*Save the world, for crying out loud

Not exactly in that order, of course.  Also, I have not finished the book OR any of the other books in the series.  Do not spoil this for me, please.

Ive read this series, but I thought it was really slow. Actually, I find all of James Patterson novels to be slow..

I liked it. Not premium fiction or anything, but good. OMS is better, and it's not slow whatsoever. Go read Solo it's featured in Fantasy ;)
