I read this entire 12 book series on my trip, on the trains and stuff. Basically, it's based on Chicago's only Wizard in the phonebook, Harry Dresden and how he gets into serious shit with every supernatural force you can imagine, while working with Chicago PD and being enslaved by ferries. And there's sex and gore. It's pretty much the shit.
