There won't be a November contest due to the following:

I) The length of the previous contest.
II) The SHAME of the previous contest entrants.
III) It's National Novel Writing Month.

For anyone who hasn't already prepared themselves for nanowrimo, it's probably too late to consider a legitimate attempt. However, I encourage everyone in the community to take the spirit of National Novel Writing Month in stride and dedicate the month to finishing up at least one of your lingering, poor, forgotten, abused, and lonely projects. Just set aside a little block of time everyday and nibble away at it.

Monthly Contests will resume in December. Hopefully, we will have better participation and follow-through.

I guess I'll try and salvage this thread from the grave. I remember some previous discussion of NaNoWriMo; we're four days into November now, how's everyone coming along?

I've been kind of sick and dragging around this week, but with the schedule I set I need to be at 8000 words before I turn in tonight. A little behind, but the night is young and I can sleep late tomorrow and so I'll be up awhile chipping away.
