Is there a way to finish the game without killing any zombies / person?

The least i can do is only kill one zombie and kill one person.

wish there is a faq on this game.

I have yet to discover a way of making it through the game without killing anybody.

You should be able to go through the game with zero Zombie/Human Kills, but it would be a very specific path I would think.

since BerkaZerka said it is possible.. will try numerous ways not to kill a single person or zombie. (you need to be late so that the mad man in your house is already dead) so you will not kill him.

however i cant find a way not to kill a zombie

You probably can, if you go into suicide mode. 

well not that kind of ending.. yes you may finish the game by not kill any zombie/human by letting it eat you.. the mission was to finish a normal ending without killing anyone

Yes, and, if you don't have the sawn-off you get from your neighbor's house, he will murder you.

Well... I did a run through by Links (not actually reading the story as I went), and I finished on the good ending with killing only 1 Zombie - but I'm not even sure where in the game I killed it. Chances are, I could go back and find a way around it if I knew where it happened...

Another possibility is that my Zombie Kills Counter is off by 1 Zombie.

Hmm...I would say "check to see if your counter is off", but then I remembered that DMW is, like, over 2,000 pages and probably has more variables than any sane person would care to count.

Why didn't you just make the variable visible as you click through the story? That way you'll know exaclty where you killed the zombie. 

I believe there is a fault in the counter. I have read the game and finish without killing any zombie. but it still state you kill one     

another question would be if you call 911 not your wife and finished a day earlier, can you still finished the game?

also is there a possibility to bypass the page "your ear will ring for days"?

Many thanks to the complexity of the game. i finish it a year ago and still looking again, there are a lot of options. 

If you go home early without contacting your wife first, then the only way to get past the convict in the house is to have shotgun shells and the sawed-off shotgun (made at the neighbors house).

You can bypass the railroad tracks by taking the rowboat from the boat club directly across the river to the cemetery and going south from there.
