Walkthrough of Mattias the One Knight
(Hopefully nothing goes wrong. Its been so long since I played this)
This guide will be broken down into three sections. The same way it was written.
Section One
At the beginning kick the crib. Strength is the hardest attribute to attain through the first two chapters. It is essential to get a high strength score by the time you get the axe. Next help mom with the garden. In the first version of this game, that would have made you lose because you would not have been able to get the destiny sword, but I added a second way to get it.
Collect the herbal remedies and continue. Use them on the next page. Now you need to go to the sword crafters and buy a sword. Now train with your sword. Good now go to the pub, click no time, because he’s faster then you. Then Punch Him Hard.
Once your back in the town, enter the tournament. There are three people you have to defeat and one of them is crucial.
#1: The first opponent is incredibly easy. Punch him hard or just punch him.
#2: Start by blocking, then although you could go overkill and stab him, just punch him hard.
#3: Opponent number three is very difficult unless you do things properly. If you don’t make him flinch at the beginning you have a large chance of defeat so punch him hard. Now if you’d done something else you’d be in trouble, but instead just ask him to surrender.
Good, now go to the bow crafters and do what people do there. (Buy a bow). Good you’ve completed your first city. So Leave.
Section Two
Section two is about twice as long as section one.
Start by training your bow. BUT DON’T GO BACK TO THE BRIDGE. Instead, actually use the bow item, now collect the destiny sword, the most important weapon. Now cross the bridge. Go to the forest.
Go West three times. (Each time a new option will appear). Remember where you saw the Celtic Shrine. W2. Go North Twice, but you’ll need a way of crossing. Go east and examine the sign, Go east twice more and then choose “the gates”. Choose W2.
Now for Agaiek, A massive city. Start by going to the slums, if you run into some trouble then attack with a sword or just hit him with your fists. Of course you might not run into any trouble.
Regardless, once your in the slums go to the cheap marketplace. Buy the spear. Now go to the pub. Fight the drunks with your sword, then go defensive on the guards. Take the rope and leave the slums. You will need to come back later.
Go to Merchant Lane, enter it and go to Jareds weapon stall. Trade Spears, then go to the Residential part of town. Go to Jareds house and get the note, then go to the tax office. Go downstairs, charge, then duck. Stab him, then take the head. Then go down to level one of the basement.
Chop and Slash the first set of enemies. Do the same to the next set. And again. Now your in the catacombs This time, Throw spear and Slash. Now Throw Spear and Chop. Now don’t enter the labyrinth. Back to the tax office and return the head. Now go to the industrial part of town, get a job. Then go to the magicians hall. Now go to the royal district. Now take the plank bridge.
Go back to the forest, go to N2, and cross. Take Merlin’s note, go to the palace and get citizenship. (In the royal district). Now go to the barracks in the residential district and buy the axe (easy weapon). Now get Four levels of training. (You should have had just over 700$)
Now go back to the slums, again you might run into trouble, you might not. Now go to the closed night club, use the spear, use the rope, I’ve got the Axe, claim the key. Now go back to the forest, back to merlin, and free him.
Now go back to the Royal District, use the gates and leave Agaiek permanently.
Section Three
Section Three is even longer then section two.
Part One
Go after Hugh, fight for your kingdom. Then use your sword. Choose Horse Show, then allow him to ask you questions, then tell him that you have but you must enter anyway. Go to the guild house and get the key, then leave via the back gate. Check out the dwelling, bla bla bla, once your done enter the forest.
Charge right in, jump off, fight with compassion and power. Look near the waterfall, dig it up. Go left, left and left again. Wait for him to be ready, then decline the bribe. Then Slash him. Now go to the doorway and stick to the nights code. Then go up through the tree and back to Maius.
Now go to the barklebrook pub. Enter it, good now you’ve got Hugh.
Part Two
Now get Horse Kick, then tell the guard you come with the word of Hugh. Go to the pub, even though it can be very dangerous. Chance you could die here, al be it small. Then use your sword. After that leave the pub. Now go talk to Adrian the Swift.
Now go to the horse stadium. Choose spear then just ride your speed. Now go back to Hugh, tell him about winning and then exit the city.
Part Three
Go to St. Harpers, go right to the gates, tell them you’ve come to free the land, go five miles east and get Beucen. This can get very difficult but that is the short cut.
Part Four
Go straight to Cornflower’s village. Don’t stop to gather men. Start by fighting with the villagers, then use Jupiter, then circle around, then horse kick, go offensive then defensive. Go Defensive, then duck, then grant mercy.
Then choose nightfall. Another one down!
Part Five
Go into the hut, get the lantern, light the way, pick up the object, examine it, then exit.
Part six
Start your journey home. Go back to your farm first, then the bow crafters then tournament grounds, then the pub, finally the blacksmith.
Leave and don’t take it. Use your sword and dodge, then grant mercy. Now go to the mountain, then enjoy the view, then search the caves for Ian. Good now back to the plains.
Part Seven
Go right in confidently, then sneak in. Go to the prison, walk right in, use the rope on the third bar, now back to the plains.
Part Eight
Choose the steps, normally the village would be a better idea, but since you don’t have much money it would take forever.
For the first one go to the third level. For the second one go to the first level. Choose one again for the third one. Choose two for the fourth one. Then for level five, choose three.
Part Nine
Search for her. Choose W3. Remember to choose the Golden Dragon. Get the lance and shield, choose the golden dragon. Click through, go to Impensia, and then have your knights attack them. Use the Samurai, then enter the throne room. (GOOD THING YOU GOT HIM TO SURRENDER TO YOU IN CHAPTER 1). Use the destiny Sword (GOOD THING YOU GOT IT IN CHAPTER ONE).
HEALTH is 407.
MONEY is 17.
SCORE is 9760.
SPEED is 45.
STRENGTH is 52.
