The best stinkin game ever.

It is the most stinking game ever.  It is not the best.  It is the worst.

To ensure this thread doesn't go on forever, I will just delete messages shortly after I delete the game.

Kill some happy things or something...

Remember guys, an innapropriate game is one with

- explicit sexual content
- gratutious violence
- no content

I saw somewhere else (but I lost the thread) asking if violence is ok. Violence is OK. What I mean by no gratuitous violence is something so violent that it wouldn't make "Rated R" -- picture something like "Jeffery Dahmer the Game." I haven't seen anyone post something like that, but we have had to delete quite  few sex games.

March, Choco, and I discussed this a long time ago. One thing we all believe is that we should not discourage anyone from making games on the site unless their games are inappropriate (as defined above). We want the site to be laissez faire -- if a game is bad, then it will have bad ratings. But everyone can get their game "published" on the site.

If, as a first time player, you see "Rating: 1 - Homework is more entertaining", then you should have pretty low expectations. Myself (as the site programmer), I wouldn't waste my time even looking at anything less than a 4.

We'll get the rating system soon enough ... once this latest upgrade is in, we'll talk about where to focus efforts again.

It's not a game.  It is a thread.

Games To Delete.

It discourrages new people more that this title.  Some people won't even enter this title being uncurious.

Yes.  I am going through all the games I haven't played and playing them looking for pointless games.  I will not play every game though.  Welcome to Pablos is already safe because it has a good review on the forums.

Driving Test. 

It is all about getting ready for it.  What a major waste of effort.  It was made by an 8 year old.  I don't think s/he would care much if you delete it.  Never even saw him/her post.  March5th00 is the only person who liked it and some other dude rated it a 5/10.

None of the games Havaco just listed were innapropriate ... 1/10, 2/10 maybe ... but certainly not innapropriate.

The problem with cutting out the bottom is that new things will fall in to replace it. If we went and deleted all 1/10 games, then games that are now a 2/10 would be rated 1/10. Then we'd delete those. And then 3/10 would become the 1/10's. It'd get to the point were you'd have to make a game of certain quality before keeping it allowed on the site.

Plus when there are a handful of 1/10 games, it makes your games that much better by comparison.

OK I unpublished it one last time. Next time it is deleted for real. I've put it in the parlor room for now -- as for innapropriate games, there really isn't a discussion

Either one is or isn't. And if it is, then it gets delted.
