So a friend and I have made a story that is very dear to my heart (I called it Noir et Doux). It's a story about a witch girl and a cynical shape-shifting demon who get stuck with each other and eventually become friends. Cutest thing on earth. They start out fighting, then understanding, etc etc. It was so cute i was considering making a story game about it.
I wanted to ask you guys what you would like to see in these kinds of stories. I want to make the story as well as possible because I think it's a story that deserves it. The problem with lots of these stories is that they fight like once, and the other guy keeps trying to do things for forgiveness, and the other guy has some sort of unconditional forgiveness thing, and something happens where the one guy almost loses the other guys and he realizes how much he cares about her, dadadadddaaa. I don't really want that. You see, in the story, the witch and demon are connected, and if the witch dies so does the demon. Thats why he doesn't just ditch her; He doesn't want his own life in danger.
ALSO! There is a character in the story that goes by the name of Mercutio (He's not mercurial at all; quite the opposite actually). He is a traveling musician whose is very quiet but firm and seems almost surreal-sh-ly kind. SO LETS KILL HIM. Yeah, thats right. Kill the angel. He will be killed by a blalalalallabalabla who are after the witch and demon and it marks a turning point in the adventure, dadadada.
Only how? I want the witch and demon to find him dead, be mortified, and realize that no one else really cares. So how do we kill the nicest guy ever? Throw him out a window? Shoot him in the head? Poison him? Something not to terribly dramatic- just something that is slightly shocking.
Thank you!
