A sequel to The Chris Parable

(I haven't started the planning of the game yet. This is just an announcement that I have began the production of a sequel, not that I am already developing it) So I was listening to the theme of a Clockwork Orange, when I thought of something: Why not make a series of games about myself, rather than just one game? So I instantly thought of the title "A Chriswork Orange", and while it won't involve anything similar to A Clockwork Orange, it will be a direct sequel to The Chris Parable.

I plan on releasing this in late-December to early-January of next year. I will probably make a map, which I'll post on this thread at a later date.

Which ending will it be the sequel of?

I haven't though about it. Maybe any ending where I don't die. Possibly the "SUPER SECRET BEST ENDING" will be canon. I don't really know.

DISCLAIMER: I finally got to writing today, I have been slacking a lot, so expect the release date to be Early-January to Mid-January.

Progress report:

Pages: 3 of ???

Chapters complete: 0 of ???

Endings complete: 1 of ??? (Of which 1 are death endings)

Notes:

I've finished 1 of the endings, the "I believe I can fly" ending, which is the result of trying to fly. Here's the first page and the death page:

First page:

Chris is sitting in his room, taking the final bite of his glorious golden cookie. As he licks his fingers clean of the gold chocolate that melted into his hand, he looks around. Standing there, motionless, Chris feels the urge to do something stupid. Maybe he can fly...

Choices:

Fly out the window

Have some common sense

Result of Fly out the window

Chris steps a few feet away from the window, near his shrine of EndMaster, and sprints to his window, when he takes a leap. While he did stay in the air for a few seconds, he falls fifteen feet to the sidewalk, which fractures his skull in several places, and kills him after he loses to much blood. The paperboy rides by in the morning, calling the ambulance, before riding over Chris' head, of course.

Ending 1: I Believe I Can Fly...

Result of Have some common sense:

Chris realizes the stupidity of leaping out the window, so he stays inside, where he has no chance of ending the story prematurely. But now he wants to go outside, where he could die a painful death. He could stay inside, where he is safe, or go outside, where he could, as we established earlier, die a painful death.

So I guess I got banned on TheDickReviewer, and I can't complete 'A Chriswork Orange' (At least with that title) so I'm renaming the sequel to just 'The Chris Parable 2'.

I decided to change the story entirely, the basic plot changing from me just wanting to go on an adventure, to me getting sent back in time by an evil known simply as 'The Beast' and I must recover five items if I want to get back home. There won't be any secret endings, but there'll be difficulty modes and it'll have ten endings. Here's the list of difficulty modes:

Wussy mode: 5 Hints, weapons do max damage, The Beast has 100 health.

Normal mode: 3 Hints, weapons do normal damage, The Beast has 200 health.

Hero mode: 1 Hint, weapons do low damage, The Beast has 300 health.

You Won't Survive Mode: No hints, weapons do even lower damage (The first weapon obtained doesn't even do damage), and The Beast has 500 health (400 seems too easy). This mode is gotten through beating The Beast on hero mode.

Here's the list of endings (Ranked from worst to best):

1. Loser Ending (Very easy to get. How to get: Stay in the Stone Age)

2. Mediocre Ending (Relatively easy to get. How to get: Stay in the Medieval Times)

3. Meh Ending (A slight bump in the difficulty. How To Get: Stay in Colonial America)

4. Average Ending (Very average difficulty. How to get: Stay in the 1860's)

5. Okay Ending (About 1/4 harder to get than the average ending. How to get: Stay in the 1940's)

6. Good Ending (About 1/2 harder to get than the okay ending. How to get: Get back home but don't beat The Beast)

7. Great Ending (Pretty difficult to get. How to get: Get back home and beat The Beast on Wussy mode)

8. Super Ending (Insanely difficult to get. How to get: Get back home and beat the beast on Normal mode)

9. Über Ending (On the borderline of impossible to get. Only the most heroic of readers can get this. How to get: Get back home and beat The Beast on Hero mode)

10. Godlike Ending (This ending is truly impossible to get. How to get: Get back home and beat The Beast on the secret You Won't Survive mode)

Canceled.

There's really no purpose for a sequel, unless I want to ruin everything that made the original good.
