Sorry for the bad grammar in advace.

Alright i have begun to focus some of my time to Legacy. Have begun to graph out the storylines, character devolpment and other stuffs but i need help getting him well...you to the dark side.

What i have so far seems like petty thing, like his rival taking credit for his successes, the woman he loves marrying the person who made his life (the rival), realizing the corruption within the federation and also the hypocrisy and corruption of the Jedi order. I feel this isn't enough I need some big triggers for this.  

If you need more info on the character or just in general just ask.

Just let the protagonist do something evil, or let them make progressively darker decisions.

Anakin just killed some kids. He skipped steps 1, 2 and 3.

He also killed a whole village of Sand People, but they deserved it, so it was more "gray" rather than evil, but it was supposed to be a warning sign of stepping towards the darkness.

Episode III was so inconsistent with its own logic that it gave me gas. I can't consider Anakin evil; he's just an incompetent idiot that doesn't remember his own goals.

Anakin goes to the dark side to save his wife.
Anakin learns no dark powers to save his wife and fails to save her.
After being given a nice shining black suit and healed, Anakin serves as Dragon to the guy that lied to him about special wife saving powers (who also basically caused Padme to die in the first place) instead of shoving his saber into the guys jowls.

Either Anakin is mentally challenged or... yeah, he's mentally challenged.

EDIT: I know he had to become Vader, but the writers did an absolutely brutal job of getting him there.

Maybe the Emperor just uses some hardcore, long-distance Jedi mind-tricking the whole time? It makes sense, since Darth is able to snap the fuck out of it right when Palpatine is focusing on shocking Luke to death.

I thought he was a whining idiot with a weak will that ultimately had no confidence in himself.

But yeah the point still remains: He sucked no matter what.

Have you read the First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie? That sounds a lot like Jezal.

Eh, that's really stretching my suspension of disbelief. If he was that much more powerful than Anakin/Vader (who was pretty dang good), why didn't he just mind rape the entire Senate to begin with. And Palpatine can't really be that strong. Samuel Jackson would have killed him if it weren't for Anakin trying to get his special wife saving powers.

Well, if he mind-raped the entire senate, he would have to mind rape a lot of guys, which would mean that someone would sense quite a motherfucking disturbance in the force.

The novelization of ROTS made more sense, because Anakin actually made an honest effort to kill Palpatine in the end, instead of just shouting "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Rage and intense emotion (Because that ruins focus/leads to rage/some sort of BS) is supposed to be a big no-no for the jedi, and, according to KOTOR, a Jedi who attempts to be gray turns out to be one useless piece of shit, even after a whole games' worth of training. So, obviously he was either going to end up being Darth Shitlord or overcome it and replace Yoda. And Yoda was the best jedi in the sequels, so.

Yeah that what what he'll eventually, killing the younglings. But i need help leading up to that.

Have the dude manipulate people into doing bad things to accomplish his goals. That's usually a sign of a great sithlord rather than outright killing a bunch of kids. (Though he should do that too either directly or indirectly)
