Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot of story-games on this site for a while now and I want to try my hand at writing one myself. I'm using a Shadowrun setting which combines fantasy with cyberpunk. Which catagory should it belong in? It's a toss-up between fantasy and sci-fi, but I could even see it going in fanfic even though I'll try to explain the setting throughout the story. I know there are threads about categories already, but this is a bit of an odd case.
If it's based on Shadowrun, it probably should go in Fanfic.
Failing that, I'd go with scifi. I know it's got elves and dwarves and all that, but the general setting is firmly futuristic enough that I look at it more as scifi.
I figure Sci Fi or Modern would be fine.
