I got nostalgic about CYS in February and happened to pop back in when End's contest was running so I thought "why not? I have more free time now than I did back then." Granted, I was a month late to joining but better late than never! I still write as a hobby so I'm not out of practice but storygame writing is something I haven't touched for a few years.

I'll still give it my best shot though! It's good to see familiar names (like yours, Mizal) still around! Good luck to everyone new and old!

If anyone else does finish by the original deadline, definitely kudos to them! I know personally, I was gonna be rushing to the original deadline with a rough but (hopefully) finished product. Now I can actually polish the story properly! If I lock in anyway.

Update on my progress to keep myself in check. About 7000 words into the first draft and all basic outlining is finished including major characters and main plot threads. Definitely facing some writer's block while writing but trying to at least write something every day even if it's only a few hundred words.

It's been a while but I have always enjoyed the contests. So I'm back, albeit a bit late.

This will at least be in the back of my head the next time I decide to write something.

Congrats to everyone who made it! Quite the turnout and good quality overall. Now I'm going to remain dormant for about a year while I try to finish things that I never got to finish...

Well checking this and then reading through my story again, I realized I really screwed up when it came to links...

I really need to proof read my stuff on CYS before hastily slapping it into the world because apparently rushing when trying to copy and paste is really difficult. However, it is nice to know that there was a lot of good submissions this time around.
