I guess I'm supposed to put something here. Here is something: go away. *sigh* here's some writing...

She ran through the field, toy in hand and moon high in the sky. Pausing her game, she looked up curiously. Has the moon always been blue? She decided it was normal, and continued playing without a care in the world.

unbeknownst to her, I was watching her from the forest a bit away. My fur rippled, and I looked up at the moon. It was nearly midnight, and I would have to go. I flicked my tail angrily, can a fox never have fun?

I looked across the clearing. I started trotting, right past the girl. She saw me, pointing in wonder and calling to her parents but I've learned now that most adults lack the creativity to see me. Or to say, they believe my transparent body to be a trick of the light.

I leapt up, landing quietly on a branch, and continued jumping higher and higher until I was atop the tree. It was the tallest tree for a league, towering above its neighbors. It has recently rained and the droplets made everything sparkle like diamonds in the moonlight.

I felt a pull. Time to go. I nodded to the little girl, who smiled widely, and I rose upward to meet the moon,to come back the next leap year.

Every leap year, on that extra day, the moon turns blue. Most people don't notice because the tint is so subtle, but it's there as true as day.

The fox is usually the only spirit to come down, but you, a child who has noticed the moon and the fox, wonder, what about the other spirits up there?
