At the beginning I really got the sense that you had a functioning world in mind for the setting. However, as I progressed it seemed like no matter what I chose I'd be put on the path to the end.

I think it would've been better if choices had a bit more weight and I actually had to think before I chose in order to aviod death or faliure.

So...you start off by trying to find all the pieces of a treasure map. The first piece is available as soon as you start the story. Incredibly, the rest of the map is available for free, on a very linear path which you cannot deviate from.

This leads me to think that you might have had something else planned for the other map pieces, which might have been a bit more interesting, but this didn't happen so we're not really searching for anything.

The game then informs you at the end that you don't get the treasure no matter what you do. Again, I'm not sure what you were aiming for here. What kind of treasure hunt ends with no possibility of being able to find any treasure? (If there IS a way to get the treasure, I haven't found it).

If anything, this does seem more like a test run but it does need work. All of your choices lead to exactly the same thing, with the only difference being that you can get a different bad ending.

The ending is the worst cop out of all time.
