Mario's Adventure Island 2, Wario's Revenge

Although the premise is interesting and you get a sense of where the story is taking place, the strange grammar and switching tenses make it quite the job to read. It seems to rebranch often.

It's obviously not a story to take seriously, but very minimal effort has been put into it. The combat scenes were done decently enough.

Grammar is the biggest problem! Story does have potential though.

This game suffers from much the same pitfalls as your last game.

First of all, while I can see some slight improvement from your last game, the grammar is still pretty much just as awful as it was before, which doesn't help very much.

Second of all, this game is supposed to have multiple choices, not to simply force you into a linear story, so there's that.

Third of all, the same problem as before, there's a very big lack of story here that simply tells me to go rescue Luigi from Wario and Waluigi and while again, I know that the original Mario games didn't have that much story either, this is a storygame, it is supposed to have a STORY.

Again, I rate this game a 2/8.

not bad a few spelling errors but ok.

Well, it did make me laugh at how much it railroaded me back to a linear path.

It was okaay .. but with a little more choice it would have been goooood !

Bored the hell out of me, but in all fairness, making an interesting story about Mario isn't easy because... well, unless you look pretty deeply into things (which leads to horrifying revelations like: he trained DK as a circus animal and abused him with fire, causing him to go rouge and kidnap Mario's previous girlfriend--a sluttier broad than Peach, named Pauline--which led to DK's capture, then DK jr's attempted rescue of him... and during the lil' baby monkey's desperate rescue attempt, Mario tried to electrocute him with a friggin' WHIP...) there's not much personality there. xD
