The game is a historical choose-your-own-adventure set in the medieval kingdom of Valdemar. You start as a lowly peasant, navigating through various life choices that could lead to vastly different outcomes, ranging from staying a peasant, becoming a soldier, rising to knighthood, pursuing a trade, or even becoming a king. Through decisions involving military service, rebellions, economic ventures, and political intrigue, players explore the rigid class system, the hardships of medieval life, and the potential for upward mobility—while learning about feudal society, warfare, taxation, and power struggles.
