Player Comments on A Cat Day
I think it's a cute game, but kind of unrealistic. My cat bites me all the time, but I never make her live outside. All in all it's very short but it's okay, I'll give it that. Maybe try another one, this time longer and more descriptive.

No negative feedback? Well, in that case how about a negative joke that in no way helps the author to improve, unlike negative feedback? The average rating for this story game leads me to believe that this is actually a sandbox. Get it? For a cat to poop in?
Well, now that I have that out of my system, here is some actual feedback:
This game was far to short and simplistic.
If it featured branching paths instead of one linear one, this could be fun, but this not that.

If you're a cat person, or you wish you owned a cat, this might be worth the 30 seconds it takes to play. Otherwise, move on.

Wish it was a little longer and more eventful, but otherwise, great!

I think it's a cute game. :) Maybe Ina sequel a chance to escape by adding an open door? I don't know just a suggestion. I enjoyed it. Even though it's not GREAT, it's pretty good for a first story. Good job.

It's way too short. The grammar and spelling is alright, but it's still too short.

What the? That was quick. Try making it longer. And I don't think saying no negative comments makes people not comment negatively on your story.

So you put this on the Internet for everyone to see and try to tell us that we can't give you negative feedback? That's stupid.
This game took me less than a minute to read. The only way this game could have four eights would be if you/your friends/trolls rated it eight. This game will soon be in the trash bin with the Warrior Cat stories, where it belongs. No one will be able to give it negative feedback there.

I will rate this story based off of a title of a Western movie because I believe this story deserves no less.
The Good:
I loved the line "Eat *nom nom nom*". It was of such high quality, it almost beat "Plan 9 from Outer Space" in quality (which is something that I cannot say often). Furthermore, I loved the guts you had in writing. You managed to not follow almost every law in writing choose your own adventures... ever. In fact, I would say that you mostly did the exact opposite. It would surely take an almost absurd amount of [place your own noun here] to do that.
The Bad:
The only thing that was bad was that it was so short. I was thoroughly gripped by the story, and I wish that it could continue so badly. I would almost rather choose the story being any longer over watching paint dry (which is of course something anybody would want to do).
The Ugly:
All of the comments. This story is pure gold!... Or maybe it is pure iron pyrite... Or maybe it is better than... ummm...
Well, I will simply skip this section do to a loss of words because of "NO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK".
A word of advice to storycat. DO NOT EVER SAY "NO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK" WHEN YOUR STORY IS DEEMED WORTHY OF A 2/8. THE RESULTS WILL BE FUNNY. (Also, do not make a phrase or sentence in all capital letters. As you can see, it makes it look quite unappealing.)

Okay, I need to rant here. You can pretty much guess the quality of the game by reading the blurb. "This is a pretty short game - as it's my first. Hope you enjoy! If you don't, you can leave some suggestions and NO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK."
... So first of all you're saying that because this is your first game, you decided to rush it and put no effort into it... Why? I mean this is a really common thing for people to say, "Sorry it's so short, but this is my first game." ... Yeah, it's your first game! It's the first impression people are going to get on what to expect from you as a writer, doesn't that make you want to put MORE effort into it? Don't people want to put loads of time and effort into their first game ever so that people are really impressed by their writing skills? Apparently not.
Secondly, you are using your blurb to tell people not to give you negative feedback... That's just depressing. If you're asking people not to leave you negative comments, that means you were expecting negative comments. If you're expecting negative comments that means you know your game is bad... And you still published it!
Here's how it works, good games get nice comments, bad games get mean comments. If you want people to leave you nice comments then try writing a good game. Telling people "I know this game is bad but I still expect you to say nice things about it" isn't going to make you very popular... And I'm done. >.<

No Negative Comments? Alrighty then.
1: I like the way you use words which are not actually words in any language like “nom”
2: I like the way you invite the author to try and improve your story for you with statements like “insert your own adjective here”
3: I like the way you only write one sentence per page when novels which are technically successful but oh so long seem to have about twenty sentences per page.
4: I admire the way you managed to write a story without a plot, setting or named characters. Some might claim this isn’t a story at all but a random waste of time but these people are NEGATIVE and should be ignored at all times.
5: Despite the fact some might consider it really boring to be a cat you fly in the face of public opinion and write about such exciting topics as “sleeping” “eating” and “sitting”.
6: I like the way you wrote “The End” at the end. I might have kept looking at the page trying to find words if you hadn’t told me the story was over.
7: I like the way you have enough confidence in your story to rate it an 8/8 even though everyone else is rating it 1/8. This just means your judgement must be better than everyone elses.
8: I like the fact you told readers not to be negative. I might have accidentally formed an opinion that was different to yours without this instruction.
9: I am impressed that you include cat sounds as part of your every day vocabulary. This will help people take you seriously.
10: There were no grammar or spelling mistakes and you have a good understanding of the multiple-choice page-linking system. That suggests you could write a good story if you put more time, characters and effort into it.

Be honest with yourself - if those was in a bookstore or a magazine, would you pay to read this? Bare minimum effort was put into this. Please take a look at the articles in the Help & Info section. They are valuable tools to improve your writing.

I hated it. This took five minutes of work to create a boring, short game. Also, I hate cats. But my main reason of annoyance is the whole no negative feedback comment. If you think your game is so bad that they'll be a lot of negative comments you don't want to hear them, maybe don't publish it. Plus, you can't just decide there should be no negative comments when you're putting a game out in public. If anything, that just angers people. I've always found this community is incredibly helpful and friendly, and leave helpful and constructive comments if there's even the least bit effort put into a game, which their clearly wasn't here.

I've seen worse, but you made some major mistakes here in 1.) making a story public and then trying to tell readers how they had to respond to it, 2.) giving yourself 8 stars which is ALWAYS tacky and a mark against an author, 3.) publishing a story your first day on the site, and 4.) Not writing a story to begin with.
Since you've so graciously given me permission to leave suggestions even though I didn't like it, my suggestion is to stop doing all of the above. Take some time to actually browse the site and see the kind of stories that do well here and become a part of the community, and then take the time to write something you can be proud of without needing excuses. You have a good grasp on spelling and grammar as it is, I do believe you can write a decent story if you were willing to put any effort into it at all.

Oh, and don't rate your own game an 8 when you've already admitted that it's not the best you can do. The insincerity and tackiness of it is just off-putting.

If you feel the need to apologize for a game or demand that no one comment on it negatively before anyone even reads it, then you've probably done something wrong. -_- If you can't even stand behind your own work, why would you ever go public with it?
I realize you are new, and likely young, but your own words suggest you already know better and you're disregarding your better judgment because you lack patience.
You can't do that and not expect people to react negatively, it's a fact of life. Even if you give something your all, someone's going to find fault with it, but at least you'd be able to have pride in knowing you did your best. This was not a good, fun, interesting, descriptive, or stimulating game. Please try harder.
