SPAG: The “Sorry…” page for an incorrect spelling of “offence” has a comma after “Canadian” that should be a period.
Also, there were a lot of instances of end punctuation being forgotten, mostly when the last word of a sentence is surrounded by quotation marks.

Damn British and their fancy words

For a quiz, it's a quiz.
For something so short, it should be proof-read. Run it through a test with your friends or something.
I think that if there was a reason for this, it would be more interesting.
Good though.

I suck at this

Very short and direct. Could use some expansion, or at least some trickier questions.

Another silly little game with silly little facts. I would have liked for questions; a good one would be "what is smoking a cig called" One of my fav British terms.

Thus is a very informative article about Britain.

I knew some of my useless accent/slang training from years ago would come to some use eventually! I don't see a point in going into deeper detail about this so I won't.

A decent quiz, but can be improved with the following questions:

1. What are bollocks?

2. Is it asshole or arsehole?

3. Which individual would best be described as a bellend?

4. What would you do if somebody told you to "bugger off"?

5. What activity does a "tosser" frequently partake in?

6. Where on the body would you find a "twat"?

Just a suggestion. ^_^

An interesting thing to note about British English is that you don't have to meet a quota of hyphens used or die choking on them materializing in your throat. In fact, this generosity extends to all variants of the English language.

The quiz was pretty easy, but that's probably because I'm British. It was a fun little quiz, though it could have been longer. Maybe even a way to track your score, perhaps?

I'm surprised at how well I did on this. The British terms always seemed a bit funny to me but I'm sure they think the same way about how we speak in the United States. Either way it was a fun little quiz. Good work.

Alright. I'd recommend this to people who don't know British-English very well(me). It's short, but its fun! I would try it again to get more of the questions right :D

I'm British, so the game for me was work out what the American word equated to. Practice is still a word in English (UK) though.

A fun little quiz

An enjoyable quiz however Headmaster/misstress was not a choice,causing me to answer sir. I had never heard of Head Teacher, although I'm sure you are correct. I give kudos for even thinking of the subject matter.

I approve. However, in the Motherland we use both 'practice' and 'practise' depending on the context. 'Practise' is the verb, and 'practice' is some sort of clinic.

Good quiz, keep at it! Just a tip: a 'flat' is an individual apartment, not a building. That's called a block of flats.

Not a bad quiz and for some reason I seemed to do rather well :) Minor point: we don't call baseball "bat and ball" in British English, on the rare occasion British people refer to that obscure children's game we call it "baseball". It is more common to call a backpack "a backpack" than "a rucksack" though, overall I would rate this story-game as spiffing cor blimey governor what ho haw haw haw etc :)

While it was pretty simple, as far as quizzes go, I did find it mildly entertaining for the minute and a half it took to click through. :)
