Hmmm... what do I think about this? Well, in one sense I kind of feel cheated. Let me explain why.
Hana is a charming character. She seems perfect on the outside: beautiful, nice to everyone, perhaps not happy all the time, but always optimistic. Even emotionally honest even when holding back—she won't talk about the bruises, but she WILL allow you to FEEL with her. A perfect love interest for the lonely, wallflower protagonist. And the protagonist turns out to be the exact companion Hana needs. It's a beautiful match of two drifting souls.
Now, why do I feel cheated? First, we don't get the full catharsis of Hana coming to terms with her abuse, facing it, or at least confiding verbally to the protagonist. That's not Hana's style, but if she were to do it, to really trust the protagonist, she would have experienced growth before choosing to exist stage left with the protagonist. Second, we don't really get to dig as deep as I would have liked in the protagonist's own demons. We get that she's lonely, but there needed to be more in order for the ending I got to be justified (taking Hana's hand and jumping).
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the ending. It's almost Romeo and Juliet style, but they go together. This is powerful in and of itself.
But the fact that we didn't go in depth enough into both Hana's demons and the protagonist's demons blunts this excellent ending choice.
Overall, I absolutely love where this story starts, where it ends, and everything in between. What I don't like is that there was room for deeper exploration of the in-between part. But it's not enough to make this story bad. It's very good. An excellent addition, and I'm glad I read it. I give this a loving winter scarf of approval. Recommended.

Well my Dad sure will be surprised when I tell him his only son has become a lesbian :) On a serious note this is a beautifully written story in the style of Snow and Farewell my Childhood Self. A good mix of choices and development there but I would have liked to see the relationship and experiences explored in more detail, getting into a relationship as a teenager is a scary enough experience but getting into a gay relationship as a teenager in a judgemental society, I imagine that's pretty emotionally challenging. 7/8

Wow, this is a powerful CYOA! It definitely was very well put together, but I was sad at the ending(s)! This really demonstrates the power of love, no matter how different we are, or how the world thinks of us. Great piece of art! :)

A beautiful story and a great writing style to fit it. A few spelling errors throughout, but they're not very noticeable and don't take away from the story. A good, light read with a darker theme. It would have been nice for the relationship to be explored a little more, but other than that I absolutely loved it. I'm beginning to realize my review is very similar to Will11's, but it's coincidence I promise, haha. 7/8

(No no no my favorite season IS spring I can't believe I was forced to choose summer! Fall and winter, I can't even contemplate :(. )
Anyway, this story has quite a lot of potential. You did a good job of evoking emotion, although it would have been nice to see more background stories for the main characters. For the memories part, for instance, you could have described a specific situation that helps develop the character of Hana even more. Remember, details make things a lot more interesting.
My one main problem with the story is its linearity. Given that this is in the romance category, this was somewhat forgivable, especially since it was decently written. However, **spoiler, sorry** it would be nice to have a perspective where you can choose not to fall in love with Hana, or even a way to prevent Hana from dying (I don't think I found an ending where she doesn't jump?)
Overall, good job. It is a bit reminiscent of the classic Snow, but with a different twist, and certainly one of the better ones that I've seen. 5/8.

I don't know why people are giving this such low scores. This is almost as good as Sethaniel's Snow, although it's shorter and more linear.

i don't think all stories need good/happy endings.. the characters are interesting and some parts are very well written, my only regret is that it's too short

The real sad thing is things like this actually happen because of bullying and it passes me off. No one has the right to do anything like that and drive people to commit suicide. Sorry this is just a... sensitive subject for me.
