Well, initially I was drawn to this story due to the colourful comments and it suddenly appearing on the new stories section?

I think this one is good enough for me to take a big shit on. I found it funny, to be honest. The writing is evidently poor, story branching is largely nonsensical and makes no sense from branch to branch, i.e. in one branch you can drink the cure instead of your wife, and you are healed, but if she drinks it its a fake? that was funny. How he survived 5 years on a tree with no food is beyond me, I found it funny though. It also felt very weird how when i visit the old man I fall sick instantly but in some paths when your wife does it she's fine? I was also a bit shocked at how we all of a sudden had a son, when there was no previous mention or implication that we had one, felt like a bit of a jump scare.

Omg!! This game was SUCH a good game, although I didn't like the spelling because it said "Babe" instead of "baby" But that's just me. And I don't know if you're from Aussie or anything but I'm from somewhere else, so I found that quite misspelled. I decided to point it out. But everything else was great, bien, gut! I loved how detailed and how I could imagine it too!

I did not survive I thought it was really short and boring but it was ok

this was ok not a lot of story to it tho so i did not like it.

It was fun. All my family died and I went through the torture of loneliness and I eventually died of old age.

Amazing love the pain suffering and torture almost like real life.

My life was sad and I died young and was selfish I took the solution but it was fake so I and my loved one died.

I did it again and it turns out that my wife? Shipped me to China so I could be researched? The worst part about it is the person that I loved murdered me by chopping off my legs and then sent them to china where the covid is like please my wife is a monster! And IDK why is says why I have a wife?

The writing is bland. The humor fails and comes across as pointless and blunt, especially for deaths since all too often, the logical choice is the wrong choice without warning. The font size isn't even consistent among pages. There is tense switching between you and I on some pages. If there's one featured story under any genre you haven't read yet, go read that instead.

You did a terrible job not only with humour and all the anachronistic stuff. You just made the less accurate and more boring description of The Black Death. That is unforgivable. Medieval descriptions are some of the better written and gruesome depiction of a real plague in human history and you made it BORING

This story is terrible, and yet for some reason it looks like a class is playing it. Did a teacher really read it and go 'yes, yes this looks like proper education'.

I'm sure there'd legitimately be writers on the site who could cobble together a more decent edutainment thing of about this size in an afternoon, and perfectly willing to if we only knew what subject was wanted.

I guess it's a decent game, but I don't like how "I" ended up doing things that I could care less, and I'm not talking about the choices but what was IN those choice. So what if my wife died? I probably hated her anyways, especially with the reveal of her working for the mob; that second playthrough wouldn't exactly make me feel bad for her. This story would be better if it was second or third person, not first. Aside from that, there are some typos in there that needs fixing but they weren't too abundant so I'll let it pass.

Not one of the good ones. I must be playing as one of the most anxious OCD characters in history. And how do you "CAUTIOUSLY" burn your whole house down and build a new one? Also this isn't historically accurate because no one had a clue as to what caused the plague. Also my grandpa or someone died in the begining but since you gave him no personality nor reason for me to care about him dying.

So my advice, work on this and change some plot holes and add more realism into the story and add characters that feel things. I know it's a lot to choke down. But it will make the story go from a 3, to atleast a 6. But for me it is a 3/8.

This story was...interesting to say at least. I liked the historic references of the Bubonic Plague. The writing was decent enough to flow.

The choices in the story have a lot to be considered. Choices that I thought were good ones, ended the game abruptly.

I played the game twice and got the "good ending" on my second play through. I just wish there was more to explore, more morality of choices involved, more interaction with your wife. How did they leave the city? Be more descriptive!

Overall, it could be so much better! Don't rush this game out! Take the time to be more detailed and you will see your ratings improve.

It was shit, that's all I have to say.

Randomness with a story, it's a bit odd because the sentences suddenly stop. And then carry on. Talking sharks and a medieval mafia (I like the idea of ride-by shootings on horseback and assassins with crossbows) puts this in the teen fiction section and the story doesn't seem to know whether to take itself seriously or go for laughs, it's an interesting premise though and I'm sure your next one will be enjoyable reading too :)

By the way, sharks don't like the taste of human flesh. Often when they bite a human it is because they are confused and think it's a fish. But once they taste it they realize it's not fish and they don't like it. They would hate the taste especially under the circumstances of this story. Still a good story though.

I like the premise, and your writing isn't bad. I don't see clusters of errors (though, it's spelled "mafia") and the formatting isn't terrible, though some pages feel rather bare. The wording is awkward in places and feels like it needs polishing, but not so badly that it's unreadable or funny.

My main complaint is that you switched from second person to first person POV half-way through the first page, with no warning to the reader whatsoever. That is -incredibly- jarring. Then you switched back for the last sentence, which is also jarring.

I'd also contest the realism of the epilogue. Being out in the woods for a couple of generations, especially while presumably getting people from outside the family as brides / husbands as the first child did (though, if they were in-breeding, they're screwed for entirely different reasons) would not cause that. Nice try at a bittersweet end, though.
