"What's in a name...?"

In a world where a name dictates everything, one can only wonder what their name will be.

I don't know why, but for some odd reason electronic music just really started to appeal to me, specifically Daft Punk. Any other fans out there...? Hello...?

It's cool because you really don't have to worry about trade evolutions or the like. Also, I have to mention that the MMO is still in a sort of Alpha phase. there are a lot of things that aren't implemented yet but as patches roll out more and more content will be released. For instance, rare candies, the elite 4, breeding, and legendaries are all not implemented yet.

I can suggest a few sites. One is an online WiFi battle simulator that allows you to play with lvl 100 pokemon in perfect condition (meaning a whole bunch of fancy game mechanic mumbo jumbo).

Another is an online pokemon MMO where it's basically you and 500 other people simultaneously playing pokemon Fire Red.

I have discovered Dark Souls on 9/18/2012 9:44:08 PM

I just placed the Lordvessel and now I'm pretty sure that the next boss I have to kill is somewhere in Lost Izalith.

"And on the seventh day, he said FUCK THIS GAME!"

Nah, just kidding.

The game is hard. Very hard. But not impossible. I believe I'm a bout halfway through the game (after logging 40 someodd hours into the game) and I love it. I'd say that the most difficult aspect of the game is the fact that you cannot rush through it unless insanely overpowered. No two enemy encounters are the same, you have to get an accurate sense of battle and of anticipation. You just gotta get into the flow. That being said, dark souls has no flow. The game goes from twisting churning white water rapids to waterfalls to even more treacherous rapids and finally it boils down to a leap off a cliff with nothing to slow the descent but hope. The learning curve of the game is so steep it's nearly vertical.

And i wouldn't have it any other way.

As the title implies, I recently purchased Dark Souls (for the xbox 360). This is hands down the most annoying game I have played to date. It's not hard, just annoying. You have to get a feel for it and actively play it. You can't just play it in the background and focus on other things. Dark Souls demands your attention.

It's still fun though.

Core Online and Skyrim DLC on 9/4/2012 8:13:59 AM

I feel you man. I really do. Nothing says Skyrim endgame better than grinding.

Oh, and an addendum to the first thing, at some point you'll be able to purchase cards and codes to redeem for points which you can also use to add time to play games.

Core Online and Skyrim DLC on 8/30/2012 11:35:36 PM

Hey guys, I thought I'd keep up with my thing here as a provider of gaming news and such, so every week or so I'll be posting a message about something big going on in the gaming world. Sounds neat huh?

Anyways, what I wanted to talk about was this cool site I just discovered called coreonline.com. It's in beta right now, but the premise of the site is that you build up time to play a game online (right now the only major title is a hitman game) by watching ads on the site. It's a cool idea in theory, and I'm excited to see how it'll evolve over time. It's owned by Square Enix, so I'm going to pray to the gaming god that a couple Final Fantasy games make it onto the site (played 1-6, need to find 7 and up somehow...).

Also in gaming news, Skyrim is to come out with a new minor DLC on Sept. 4th. Supposedly you'll get to design and build a custom home, create new items, and be able to adopt a child. It sounds good, but unless it puts new acheivements into the game i'm probably not going to get it.

What are your guys's thoughts on these articles? Should I keep doing this or should I stop?

Will there ever be world peace? on 8/25/2012 4:30:41 AM

Only after Germany had stockpiled enough munitions and men to start a World War.
