I don't know, Drakoblare...I wouldn't want to exist forever. our souls get old and tired. Existence is a toil and after a while, our time comes. Like there is a point where you become so jaded of existing that it is more painful than not existing at all. Mortality is a good thing: no one--nothing was meant to live forever. Everything has an expiration date, and when that comes, you have to hope that you have lived your life as you wanted to (even if there is some kind of afterlife or something)...
