How do you align text to centre?
... Yes, I really am that stupid. :(
But I wanna! >.<
That might be how it works with the RTE too actually, just keep the brackets in that case.
e: tested and no it does not.
Someone else will have to explain the RTE option, idk.
In RTE, you have to go to "Source" and enter the code.
< center > TEXT < /center >
... Nope. Don't work. I guess RTE just hates me >.<
Really? I use it all the time. There shouldn't be any spaces in the code, of course.
Also, the word is "center," not "centre"... just in case THAT's the issue...
Nope. It's just not working >.<
Don't worry though. I'll just wait until I'm finished with everything else and then turn off RTE
The other thing to note is that anything you input in Source isn't permanent. So it's usually one of the last things I do. I'll write my page, make whatever edits I need, then go to Source and enter whatever special codes I want. Then I save the page and take a look at it in the story viewer.
If I make no further changes, the centering will stay there. If I noticed I misspelled something and go back into that page, any special formatting keyed as code in Source will disappear. I will have to reenter when I'm done.
And that's why RTE is evil. :p
And I assume Avery knows this, but it might be worth mentioning:
The centered text will never appear in the RTE itself. So after applying the code and saving it, you have to use the story viewer to ensure the formatting is what you want it to be.
Nope. I know no things. :(
Ah! That's what I'm doing wrong. :p
