I'd like to add in my two cents here. Hello, I'm a faggot, and I'm offended by the term. But personally I assume that doesn't mean horseballs to either of you seeing the nature of your debate. Gays/bisexuals calling gays faggots is still offensive but it has taken it's place as a softer insult than some things some people in the LGBT community have had to hear.
Seriously though, there's much worser verbal abuse available to anyone willing to do harm or be offensive than "faggot". I'm lucky to not have received any of it.
