This is intended to become a post-apocalyptic adventure game. But for now its just a title and a description with a few pages attached.

I have no variables in place involving the page. It was just two links. The next chapter has a first page set.

Oh and now I find out that it isn't just ONE of the links on that page. It is every single one of the links I have placed in the page.

So I have a link set to send the player to the next chapter, which I have set up. But everytime I click it while playtesting, it loops me back to the page that linked to that page. It is very frustrating and I can't figure it out.

I feel really stupid for not thinking of that. Seems really obvious for me not to have thought of it. Thanks Berka!

Okay I have grasped the basics of the variables but I've hit a bit of a hitch. Can anyone tell me how to set it up so that you have six points to distribute to four attributes and when you use all six points, it will send you to the next page?

Well the way the virus works is it hypes up adrenal responses and attacks the pain centers in the brain. So basically you have really aggressive people with basically little to no pain. Eventually they start to lose cognitive functions and the ability to see but essentially they are just people, but stronger, faster, and harder to hurt. So that wouldn't be a stretch to see.

Well I wasn't planning on making it very long since its going to be my first game. If it ends up being longer, I'll try to make it different then the usual stories.

I already have the basic idea of the different options in my head.

Well the fact that I know its been done before makes me skeptical about doing it at all. Which is why I even posted this.

I've been turning this idea over in my head for the past month of a freshwater borne parasite that finds its way into your blood stream and releases neurotoxin emitting bacteria. The neurotoxin would basically cause an increase in testosterone release as well as hindering the pituitary gland.

A lot more happens with the disease but I don't want to flood information if the idea isn't good. Should I make a story based on this?
