Reddit is unusably awful. I actually remembered this site and came back here because I deleted all my accounts and uninstalled the app, but I still wanted somewhere writing related to lurk. I like that the community is small and everything is out in the open. "Bad for mental health" is when every discussion is swarmed by alt right bots and karma farming bots and absolutely sick and hateful trolls so that you never even know who's real. I've been stalked by someone claiming they were "connected to law enforcement" for weeks after an argument, they read through years of my post history and were twisting it all up and following me from sub to sub telling people I was a sex offender. Sorry but anybody saying this site should be like the rest of the internet has never seen the rest of the internet. I can't even look up animal videos on youtube when I'm stressed out anymore since so many of them are that fake "rescue" abuse shit and youtube just let's them monetize it and does nothing. The world is fucked up.

I'm looking for a free (or at least not too expensive) app to make world maps and floor plans for interior locations. Something that can do a topographic map would be awesome to have too. There's a lot out there to sift through, has anyone actually used one they'd recommend that doesn't have all the important features behind a paywall?

Okay that's fair, I'll just write outside the contest. This is an idea I've had for awhile now, I'm pretty eager to put it into some kind of game form finally.

I haven't but I'll look it up. My world is sort of inspired by some of the old Final Fantasy games, I'd probably make it a real RPG if I knew how to code. There's going to be a big map and you'll hear of missions in certain locations, but it's always going to be a choice since you can't be in two places at once and there will be consequences to not doing certain things in time.

Peachcobbler Someone insulted me, I thought jokingly, and then I was joking back and a couple of mods seemed fine with it, but then other people started getting really mad or feelings hurt about it, and when I checked back a couple days later I was banned. So I'm just not going to post until I have a high rated game since that seems to be the thing to do here.

Not really new, my first account got banned last year before I could write anything though and I'm coming back this year to prove myself with a storygame.
