So, hi. Welcome to my humble little profile. You can call me whatever you want to, I don't particularly care. I'm just a melodramatic high school sophomore with a love for reading (mostly choose your own adventure and obnoxiously long books where not much technically happens), writing, the bands Neutral Milk Hotel and The Mountain Goats, and the feeling you get when you look out the window early in the morning and the whole world is covered in snow. If you ever need anything edited or you want to RP or even if you just want to chill, feel free to PM me!

"The stomach is not the only vital organ that hungers." -Anthony Marra

Fight Your Fate: Murderous Beginnings
unpublished

Your name is Elise "Liesel" Wexler, the daughter of a count and a witch, future queen of Espéra, and you're almost certainly going to be murdered in forty-five days. What will you do?

Welcome to Fight Your Fate: Murderous Beginnings! This is my first storygame, so advice and constructive criticism is appreciated. This will certainly be more story than game, but there will be some game-like elements to it. In this story, there are two paths that lead you to a technical victory. After the completion of this story, you can continue with one of three possible sequel stories. It would be waaaaaay too long as one story, so I split it up. With that said, please enjoy!

(How) do you celebrate Easter? on 3/26/2016 9:14:07 PM

It's chill. The thing with the relatives went better than expected, mostly because my one cousin announced her pregnancy (which would be good if she wasn't an unmarried dirt-poor 21 year old living with her mother who can't drive. Personally I don't care, but my family does), so that took the pressure off of me a bit.

(How) do you celebrate Easter? on 3/26/2016 10:31:37 AM

Usually I get dragged to church, but this year Mother isn't going to bother because a) she's mad at the Catholic church for the whole systematic abuse thing they have going on and a big part of it was just uncovered in our area and b) my brother and I are off to see relatives on my dad's side of the family which is a very stressful endeavor for many reasons, chief among them being the fact that I haven't seen that side of the family for about a year. So tomorrow we're just going to eat chocolate and chill out and probably say ten Hail Mary's and five Our Father's as penance for skipping service and then feel a bit guilty because we won't feel as bad about skipping as we probably should.

Update: I might be going to church tomorrow because Mother isn't as upset about the whole "Catholic priests abuse children" thing as originally thought and she's convinced that because my brother is a good Catholic that he'll want to go tomorrow. And if he's going, Mom will be driving him and thus since both of them will be going, I too will have to go to church. Hopefully my brother is less devout than originally thought and then Mother won't be guilted into taking us.

Yeah, if the machines do a whole dramatic uprising, this'll come back to haunt us. Didn't something similar happen with the Watson bot a while back? Anyways, I feel like just a machine saying things you don't like isn't an excuse for killing it. It'd be like killing a parrot because your kid brother taught it how to swear, except the parrot has a significantly lower chance of taking over the world.

And then they'd probably be obliterated five seconds later. Swiss military may not have gone into war ever, but they're intense. But  then another Isis would pop up because you can't bomb an idea.

Brussels attack on 3/23/2016 10:36:43 PM

Technically, WWIII has been approaching since the end of WWII, but I don't think this will be what causes it. Isis isn't really an organized country. Most of what they control is desert towns in Syria. They're a threat, yeah, but the aren't the threat that would cause a world war.

Brussels attack on 3/23/2016 10:34:20 PM

Yep, it would be awful, but it would get them what they want. I mean, they'd be bombed into oblivion and it would be super hard to pull off, but if they managed to do it, everyone would collectively just lose their shit.

Brussels attack on 3/23/2016 10:16:19 PM

I'm not really shocked that Belgium got attacked, since they are nestled between France and Germany, which is a pretty bad place to be if you're trying not to get attacked by terrorists. It's horrible, but not particularly shocking to me. If I had to bet where Isis would try to attack next, I'd say they'd try something in Switzerland (specifically Geneva) because that would mess with everyone really badly. Plus the Red Cross, World Trade Organization, and UN refugee agency are all based in Geneva so it would be a pretty big deal.

I swear to god NSA I'm not a terrorist I'm just really morbid.

Good luck on the test!

Happy (belated) birthday! The land of sixteen is almost 0% different from the land of fifteen except for the fact that all anyone does is ask about driving. Answering "So, have you gotten behind the wheel yet," has been my life for months. Mooooooooooooonths.  Hopefully you'll be spared from this fate. Anyways, back to my earlier point: Happy birthday!
