Hello! My name is Stan. Ever since I was a kid I loved to read. In particular, I had a profound interest in digesting materials pertaining to history. However, what also interested me were books that gave the reader choice- the literary illusion of choice, that is. In middle school, I was introduced to the Choose Your Adventure genre. I was totally and completely captivated. Interestingly, the first CYA book that caught my imagination was not one that's obvious. Instead, it was a simple Wizard of OZ CYA book written and published in the late eighties. How odd. Nevertheless, here I am again many years after the fact still as interested in the imaginative world of books and stories. With any luck, I'll publish a piece that will draw the same interest in you.

The Wolves I: Midnight
unpublished
In a small German village in Lower Bavaria, life is simple. As the time of year approaches late spring, the nearing sounds of summer and festive spirit fill the air; the noises of children playing, the chorus of birds throughout the village, and roaring laughter from villagers are commonplace. This is one of many normal days in what is an ordinary community- until midnight. In this tale of horror, the reader must navigate this night of monstrous proportions as Guy, a commoner. Already in a dangerous and bewildering circumstance, Guy will find difficult circumstances where instant, reckless decisions will mean life or death. But for whom. Will Guy be a hero, a coward, or a monster? The decision, as always, belongs to fate. The Wolves I: Midnight

Thank you! Finding a theme is going to be important for this for certain. Maybe making a story board or a rough outline would help before actually writing this.

That’s completely fair. The tone I intend to establish throughout the story is a comedic one. Without a doubt I realize that this could be a very boring story.

Good evening! Here's a concept I'm currently developing. Title: Office Life Setting: reader takes the role of an ordinary office employee. Plot: the office employee must look through the office in search of a particular document after their computer stops working. Along the way, the story's protagonist is met with additional inconvenient obstacles appropriate to an office. Some of which will be unconventional. Objective: find the document before the end of the business day or get fired. What do you think of this idea? I realize it's not a particularly exciting setting, but I think there may be something here. Another off-shoot idea I'd like to explore would be a situational-comedic story similar to the Stanly Parable. Thanks'!

We’ll see how it goes. I don’t remember being much of a debate guy. Either way it was quite some time ago. Seven years or so.

I recall vividly the jokes about my username! Oh, the underwhelming experience of youth. It’s always met with such overwhelming regret. Joking aside— about what, I think is obvious— I’ll tell you that the reason for being banned. Albeit, it is less funny than I would like it to sound. I was banned by Endmaster, if I recall correctly, because I asked him to ban me. And so he did just that. lol

Hello! It's been a few years since I was last on the site as a writer. I wasn't much of a writer when I was around. My grammar was terrible and the sentence structure of many of my published works was poor. That much can is clear when reading my only remaining piece from that period- The Wolves II- which you may find linked below. Nevertheless, what always caught my attention on this website were the stories. I'm sure the same sentiment is shared by the more veteran writers who frequent the site. There's a lot of talent here, and I'd like to do my best to contribute to the site again. Hopefully this time I'll contribute stories rich in substance and with a quality that is just half of the great literary works found here today. Thanks'!
