Hehe. Here's the noob again! Ummm. I have the choose your own gender thing down and I've got the whole Idea on choosing your own name, but there are two things I still have trouble with...
1. When I put the code text on the actual page as you all tell me to, it shows up as actual text. Does this still mean that the code is in place? And how can I get it to not show up and ruin my storygame? (P.S I know that when I publish my storygame it'll probably do all this for me, but in the preview area it still shows up so am I right about the publishing thing or do I need to do something?)
2. How do I get the gender/name to show up at a later point in the game. For example: (show name here) did 20 damage to Cruelcumber! (show name here) gained a level! etc. Is there a way I can access the stowed away info on what choices the player made and show it at a later time in order to keep the flow of the story? PLEASE HELP!
