I have two sets of variables for two random npc that are supposed to show up in a single page, but both of them show up like a different set of identical twins each time I roll the dices. Same hair, same eyes, same everything. I have a different set of dice for each npc. Why do they show the same features if they rely on different variables?

That's a lot of stuff there. With duplicate results, I would first question the random dice code -- is that code working, and more importantly, is that code even executing? (To test, I'd output all those variables on the page where this code is found, at the start before this code processes to see what's showing up).

It works, giving random features every time. The problem is, it does it in pairs. When I "output" them, if gives me all random pairs of numbers, meaning that different features are getting different numbers, but the same feature for both npc always get the same random number each time I throw the dice. Somehow, two variables for the same feature are rolling the same number.

Maybe a bug?

You probably did something like this:
%ROLL1 := 1D100
%ROLL2 := %ROLL1

Well, no. I created variables for each feature in each npc, and then went to the link where the dice are used, and added different kind of dice to each variable there (1D6, 1D3...). When the link is used, it creates the values, and then that long wall of text up there translates the numbers into words.

I'm not using advanced scripts, just variables.

Yes. I opened the dropdown menu, and chose reset. I also saved both the link variables and the page in the game where the link is.

Well. After some testing, I would say that this is a bug.

To fix it, on that same page where you have the 1DX for the variables, get rid of all those. Then, add in the script section (the button one to the right):

VARIABLE := 1DX

Where X is the random die size that you want. That appears to work without any duplicates for me.

Can I change the variable name, ir it must be "variable"?

Replace my text VARIABLE with the names of your variables. So you will end up with a list something like this:

NAME1 := 1D10
NAME2 := 1D10
PERSONAL1 := 1D100
PERSONAL2 := 1D100

etc.
