Having kicked around with Excel enough If then statements, I was astounded and floored discovering Lookup tables.

So, crossing fingers and hoping for a nicer system here as well, then creating big nested if then statements.

I haven't searched through the forums as diligently as I maybe should've for this, so my apologies if there's an article or tutorial that I missed.

Variables and IF THEN ELSE is about the limit of it. It's a pretty basic system, but most stories here, if they use scripting at all don't go with anything fancier than tracking stats, changing text, or opening and closing paths and whisking the player around. You've seen quiller's stuff so while it is possible to get really creative with what's available, it comes at the cost of your sanity.
