People who become scribes on this site start out as Readers with 15 points. On Fleshy's article about ranks, it says you need 50 points to become a Reader, but you only need 15.

By the way, what happens if you lose all your points? Do you become a Guest again? This answers a little of my question.

i didnt write the article on ranks. i didnt even support the ideas of ranks lol that was madglee that wrote it.

ya same, i never supported ranks and for the same reason as Nate lol, the ranks bring back competition that is in no direct but indirect relation to storygames, competition on this site should be about storygames, but now i am rambling so i would rather discuss this later :P lol

not true dude. competition is all good. nobody said it has to be one site only. ALSO MydventureGAME consider it a leaderboard?

naw, i still dont support that, because ranks arent always a reflection of a good author, heck, im second or third highest rank on the site and i have ONE game, like come one, you cant say its a leaderboard, because than its a leader board of forums adn gameplaying when the site is gamemaking and gameplaying, and there isnt a lot of game playing cause there isnt alot of game making hmmm.. i think that sums it...

Nothign wrong.. its like a sibling rivalry.. haha me and solo have friendly arguments all the time.

No but Solo, forums has nothing to do with your rank score..

Its WRITING articles, WRITNG games, getting featured pieces of WRITING, play pieces of WRITING and helping to develop the site that are key in getting poimts.
