[Low] Possible Firefox Text Editor Bug?

There are instances where I am typing on the word box and then saw an error so I'll try to correct it. Therein lies the problem, I click the middle of a particular word and every single letter below that just vanish. Other times I would click one of the tabs to my left by accident and the text disappear then too. Is there a way to save without clicking save and exit, or if not possible, an undo button so all I have written below doesn't just...go Houdini on me?

I know perfectly well that I can use Microsoft Words and such but my creativity seem to flow better on the textbook for odd unknown reasons I cannot devise.

I can't reproduce this! You're using the rich text editor? Also, we have an undo button (ctrl+z) on a PC.

(ctrl + z) only deletes, not recover. At least that is how it works for my computer.

if you are constantly having this problem, cut and paste your work on a word document to fix it. then copy and paste it back onto the page.

Like I said, my creativity flows better on the textbook for odd reasons. Please give me a solution I don't already know.

like i said, write it in the text box and eddit it in a word document. be as creative as possible, in the text box. use a word document to do simple uncreative corrections. If JJJ cant figure out how to fix the problem your having, then mine the solution you have. do not become angry because you dont like the solutions given to you.

I never said I was angry, nor displayed it with an exclamation point. And I can't do that either, when I'm writing, I unconsciously try to correct it when I see a typing mistake.

Erudite, when you say something like: "Please give me a solution I don't already know" you're expressing (at the very least) annoyance. Take more care to write more civilly if you don't want people to assume that you're getting angry.

This likely is a problem with your computer or your mouse or something, since I write my stories in firefox and I've never run across this problem, nor has anyone else while using firefox.

Are you using the most updated version of firefox? Does this still happen with other mouses? I'm moving this to bugs and problems because ctrl+z will undo a deletion. To be absolutely sure, I just deleted this whole post and then hit ctrl+z and it came back.

Okay, I figured a bit of firefix properties. Took a long time going through all that data, and I think it working now. Though, does that solve the accidentally clicking one of the tab on the left issue? I'll give it a shot. Anyway, thanks for testing and making sure JJ + J, you must have been profounded a lot while testing it. I apologize for that.

I didn't know you could use (ctrl + z) either, very helpful. Just configured firefox, and Voilà, ctrl + z works again.

Okay, that doesn't make any sense, Erudite. Which exact settings did you change? I highly doubt there are any ctrl+Z settings on firefox.
