Alright, so this forum is a little weird, and any html you type into a forum post is continued on all other posts and for the rest of the page. I'm pretty sure in most forums, each post is enclosed(need a better word here). Meaning, if you accidentally forget to close a html tag these things don't happen:

Yea. Anytime I feel like. Just type any html tag without closing it. I'm just double-checking what you said about the rich text editor. I've clicked on the "Source" button and put the html in to end the italics. See if this works.

Wait, seriously? Is it only me who can do this? Alright. I fixed it. October, can you put the start of a html tag, and not close it, see if someone else can cause it.

Uhh... I don't think I can make it stop either. That's really weird.

Okay. Nevermind. Finally did it.

Yeah this is strange.

I think what happened was that Cool had put in some un closed italics as well, and it was only when enough closing tags were put in that it took those out. You'll see that somewhere up the page I had a blank post. I had actually typed three closing tags. I think that's what finally got it.

Let see if it works know Did it change back.

The point is to have one post change everything to italics, and then another one will change it back to normal.

I have never used it. Makes posting pictures complicated.

It's not that complicated once you get used to it.

I try to get rid of anything that makes things "easier". It also tends to limit you in what you can do, and obviously I like being able to do the more complicated things ;)

I do miss the animated smiley faces but you can't have everything.

I never had the rich text editor. So I don't know what its like at all. Stupid safari.

They were fun! they could wink and clap.

Fire fox rocks and if you want to you can turn the editor on and off.

JJJ knows.

Actually, thanks. I don't think JJJ ever saw this because of our prank. And this is a crazy, crazy bug.

Yea, its not going to change. Its because of the way the forum is set up. Each post should be exclusive from the page, so that html codes people put in don't affect anything but the post, but they do. The rich text editor automatically closes html tags for you, but for those of us that don't have the RTE, or those who use source, can mess up the entire page.

Actually, yea. I looked at every topic that'd been posted to today, and I couldn't find where this happened. I'm curious to see it.

Your "benefit of the doubt" policy really seems to stop when it comes to 3J. Not too sure why.

Hey Cool, what do you expect me to do about this? What do you want me to say? Want me to waltz in here and fix it? I'd love to but I can't. Howbout you fix it? Is this important to you, Cool?

Usually, you at least say you know about the problem. I should have worded it better. Probably should have said has JJJ even notice. I am not a programer or a hacker so I doubt I could fix it.
