So when you try to turn the rich text editor on (or off), it takes a few hours for the option you chose to take effect.

Like, for instance. Right now, I have the Rich Text Editor off. I'd go into My Stuff>> Profile and click on the little check box and click update settings. Then, when I go and have a look, its still not RTE. But if I just leave it alone, in a few hours I'll have RTE on. Then if I uncheck the box, it takes a few hours still.

(Not sure the precise timing on this. Might be maybe 10 min. I didn't check very often :S)

This happens on both Safari and Chrome, so I'd assume other browsers as well.

Do you think it could be a browser cache issue?

I doubt it. It never happened before, and I don't have any cache issues with anything else (like staying logged in, etc).

Possible though, I guess.

I noticed it too when testing, but hoped it was just me. It's getting cached somewhere, but logging out/in fixes is.
