I recently wrote a story called Setinel (yes Setinel not Sentinel) and it say no one played it and only 3 people have played it. And when I click the ratings which say only 3 people have rated it I get much more people than 3 (13 last I looked).
Ive noticed it too. Just never thought report it.
Quite possible. But dont know why it would be like that.
Why guests would rate? Isn't that blatantly obvious?
I meant why does it discount the playthroughs of guests not why guests would rate. I have rated games as a guest so.
The Ratings vs. Finished vs. Played has always looked a little off, but it's not broken. It works fine and is showing you an accurate count as far as how many times it has been Rated.
The Problem is that part of it updates immediately, part of it updates at the end of the day, and part of it gets erased every time you unpublish/re-publish. Also, if you Rate a game and then re-rate it later, it will account for both of your ratings in the overal Rating, but will only show you as having rated it once.
So, to summarize - it ain't broke. It's just quirky =)
