Suggestions for improvements and additions to the site.
This feature was rejected 9/8/2005: No plans on implementing this within the next year. Good idea, but just not something we'll do now.

games on cd's or downloaded

maybe this has already been brought up but...

It would be great if you had an option in My Games, "Burn Game to CD" or something similiar. Or maybe "Download Game." This way we have it on a CD or on our computers and do not need to be connected to the Internet. This option can be available to all games, for eg. The Wal*Mart Game can be burned to a cd or downloaded from the Profile of thatguy. This link is beside the title within the list of games.

the cd format was discussed by alex about a month ago. his idea however, was to use the cd concept as a prize to the winner. for example, winner of a new contest would win a cd with all their games on one cd. but i do like the idea. however, remember that alex and guys own rights to all stories written on this site.

I want to clarify this ... we do not "own the rights".

Authors own the copyright to their story ("own the rights"). You can put it in a book, on a billboard, or anywhere else you want. It's yours.

When you put your content on the site (posts, games, comments, etc), you give us a "whatever we want" licence to the content. But it's not ours. We're just allowed to use it.

ok so i was wrong. not the first time. lol oh well, sorry for spreading that bad piece of information. no harm done i hope. but my main point was that games shouldnt be printed freely by anyone without some form of permission from authors and so forth. but yes i was wrong. sorry again. i shall punish myself harshly.

One feature slated for the long term is the ability to "print" a game. Of course, this would only work with Classic Games ...

If we get a lot more complex games, it's something to consider. But right now, it'd be a lot of work for a few games ...
