It makes sense that picture uploads have a size limit, somebody needs to pay for the space, I guess. But why do they have a width and height limit?

Images uploaded to the site are really only meant for your forum avatar and inventory icons. For anything else just use an actual image hosting site and embed it.

postimages.org seems to be working fine for now for random uploads. Probably adviseable to have an account for anything important wherever you put it though, and keep a backup. Imgur used to be the standard until they started purging a lot of old files, and Discord now puts a time limit on theirs.

Wait what? Tell me more about the discord time limit I think all of my shit is on there.

Yeah that happened last year. Basically any images you were hosting on there will break after about a half a day or so.

I had to redo the entire HATE archive and some of the game threads around that time. Good thing I kept precise back ups of where everything was supposed to go.
