I was browsing the stories on the site when I realized that I didn't want to just read one section of a genre, I wanted a serious story but I wasn't sure what genre I wanted. It made me think that an option to search the site's stories would be a major improvement and would also aid to the accessibility of the site's stories.

That's what tags will be for in the future.
