HOLY COW. LITERALLY.

I read the book Animal Farm in an hour i loved it so much (sorry BerkaZerka).

I geuss I kinda hate it in a way- the way that the government is so twisty and corrupted (hating napoleon right now). I can't wait to learn more about the russian revolution so i can figure out exactly what it all symbolizes. I recognize some of the events, but not quite all. Geezy whoa. I like the ending too: "From pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but it was already impossible to say which was which." Somebody really ought to make some tasty bacon outta those pigs.

I don't see why people hat this book so much (Especially you BerkaZerka!). The sad ending? It's not like it's that hard to understand... I've got to say that it was real good.

The novel was okay, the movie was terrible.

Never read the book (I read the apprenticeship of Duddy Kravits instead that year) but i've read 1984, great book that one.

Animal Farm is pretty damn good; I have no idea how anyone could loathe it. Combine it with 1984 and Brave New World, and you have the Holy Trinity of literature. Those three books are easily my all time favorites.
