This is the problem i have. I can't insert pictures in my games! Can anyone help me or just help me?

Put this under Advanced Game Forum or Newbie Help.

Is Rich Text Editor on? (A bar at the top when you edit pages in a game or make a tread or post)

Ric text format is on, but when I go to my pictures in my stuff, I get an internal server error!

Post this problem in the bug forum.  Internal Server Errors are the only errors this site gets.  They come every once in awhile.  Well, whenever there is a new feature.

How do you get a picture from the internet to Paint? I have it on Word.

copy, from internet
paste, into paint.

To paste in paint, Select 'Edit', the click 'Paste', it may give you a message box, sayng the picture you are trying to paste is larger than the window, select yes.

Good explanation. And don't forget to SAVE as GIF. I think ti only lets you upload GIF or JPEG anyway ...

Thank you, but GIF, although my prefered format, will reduce your colour resolution. JPEG will not change the colors. Save in GIF first, if it changes colour, ctrl z, or repaste it and save as jpeg.

We should put this in the FAQ or something ...
- JPEG is good for photographs
- GIF is good for drawings

HAve you tried something other than PAINTBRUSH? There is this other tool, InfraView, which is pretty cool. Converts and has special effects. Freeware.

It is already a JPG so I'll leave it at that. I found tons of great pictures but they are all around to big. Mabey if you moved the size to 500kbs it would work.

the picture you may be COPYING may be a jpeg. But paints default setting saves it as a bmp (bitmap), which you do not want, trust me it becomes a real hassle at times, when A) you try editing it B) re save as different format.

I know that. A simple way to overcome that is where it says file type. There are about 8 with 3 as bitmaps. 2 are jpegs. The rest are different.

just write the file name then put .jpeg

You can change the pixel size of a picture under 'Attributes'. Just put in the pixel size MAG require. 200x300?? can't remember.

It cuts off the side though.

It won't cut off the side if you do edit, select all, then attributes and change pixel size.
