After binge-watching many of my favorite shows, I'm now stumped on what to watch next. I'm not an avid anime watcher, but I do have a few under my belt. Are there any animes that you guys would suggest to me? I'm not much of a horror guy myself, and I've got no specific preferences. I do like action, comedies, (hell, rom-com's work as well), and so on.

All the others are strange to me. What are they about?

Higurashi is about the village of cicadas where young boy and many girls go crazy over dumb things and kill each other. Very comedy.....very fun to watch.

Noein not really horror, more of thriller SciFi with psychological

Tokyo ghoul is about boy in world who is wuss until monster almost kills him but die and become e part of him to make him part ghoul.

Higurashi seems very intriguing ^ I'll have to check it out.

Mobile suit gun dam 00- those are zeroes. Awesome giant robots blasting other giant robots......in space.

Code geass- awesome strategic antihero with cool power. He tries to take over the entire world.....with giant robots.

Familiar of zero- has some nudity, I must warn you,but kind of funny and awesome in combat.

Canon- Saddest piece of heaven ever. I cry every time.

Kanon- significantly less sad, way too nudity. Like......WHOA! I did not need to see that.

I don't remember the exact name, but there's one with a donut shaped cat.

Ramna- also kind of nudiy, but very comedic

Baccano-immortals in the 1800s killing random people

'Is this a zombie?'- about man who dies for necromancer, becomes undead, then saves the world as a crossdressong magical girl.

Then I'm glad that I haven't watched the movies yet... But I really loved all of the fights, they should make more anime's like this one...

Genocyber- It's a bit older, but one of the only ones to keep my attention all the way through. There were only five episodes though. :(

Well if you want comedy, Daily Lives of High School Boys was really quite funny for me ^.^

Ahaha, DLHSB has been great so far ^ Laughed every minute of it.

RWBY was pure cheese. Let's be honest.

Blood C, for the creative death scenes.

Okay, you've watched and have been recommended quite a few, so I can't offer much. But, while I'm here:

Clannad (someone mentioned Canon, so I HAD to mention this one) and Clannad After Story. If can make it through the first season, you can make to AS. Clannad After Story is amazing, but UNBELIEVABLY HEART-WRENCHINGLY SAD.

Jamescoker mentioned FMA, so I'll elaborate. If want a darker adaptation go with the 2003 version. If want a (slightly) lighter version that is more faithful of an adaptation, go with FMAB (2011).

I also suggest:

-Zankyou no Terror (if you like terrorists)

-Black Lagoon (for an increase in testosterone)

-Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex (1st +2nd season, if you want thought-provoking +action)

-Fate Zero + Fate Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks (highly recommend 2014 version, with second season coming this spring season; also, fate zero is the prequel, but you can watch either or first. If you want a surprise, watch UB first, then FZ for backstory. If you're a chronological-freak like me, then FZ first.)

-And if you want some lighter stuff: Oreimo, Toradora and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo,.

(I could recommend a lot more, but these should keep you busy for a very long while...)

I cried about a solid nine times in AS alone...But we'll see what he thinks if decides to watch it!

For some reason, I always associate FMAB with 2011. I don't know why (now that I think about it).

Speaking of Brotherhood, I assume you like Greed a lot, but who's your favorite protagonist of the series (both FMA and FMAB)?

My personal favorite sin: Pride (from FMAB)

My favorite protagonist: Al, and then Ed is tied with Ling

Favorite "good guy" from Brotherhood: Al or Van Hohenheim.

Favorite "bad guy" from Brotherhood: Pride or Kimbley.

Favorite "good guy" from FMA(2003): Al

Favorite "bad guy" from FMA(2003): Scar or Greed.

Favorite Chimerae: Kain (2003), Nina-Alexander, Dolcetto.

Watching the 50th episode right now. So fucking pissed that Johan is still alive.. and the entire cross-dressing deal is making my head spin. He just became 10 times less threatening in my eyes.

Tokyo Ghoul is a good one.

The 2nd season was utter crap until like 3 episodes ago.

The second season was good. It doesn't beat the first season in the way of an good plot and deep story, but the action in season two makes up for it.

Last episode was fucking hilarious.

Yeah, it's like, just the end of the prologue of the manga.  Oh, okay, backstory is over, time to watch the actual series and. . .  Nope, I guess that's the end?

It's like if batman opened with adult batman fighting bad guys, then did a flashback to young bruce Wayne that ended with his parents being murdered in front of him, and that was the end of the series.

Eh, I liked griffin best anyway.
