Is there a way to get to the Notifications without being notified? For example, so I can check a post that was made in a thread from a couple days ago?

You can go to your own profile and scroll down to your own recent posts and click the link. But unless you tell the site to stop notifying you for a specific thread that you posted in, you will get a notification every time there is a new post in that thread. Otherwise, if you aren't notified, nothing new is there to look at.

They gradually get deleted after time, though.
