Most members of this cite base their storygames? off of movies, TV shows, and books. So, maybe we could have tags for that. For example:

• Based off of a Movie
• Based off of a TV show
• Based off of a Book

I think this may help others when playing storygames. They can see if the storygame is based off of a movie/TV show/book. And after playing the storygame, players can remember if they've read the book or seen the movie/TV show.

... That's the point of the genre "fanfiction." The tags would be redundant.

Fanfic has a total of 105 storygames. So not 'most members of the site' by a long shot.

I've always thought we could use a few more tags in general, though, along with a way to use them to filter searches.

@mizal if you suggest some tags, I can add them.  I can't create a way to filter searches, though.

The updated version of CYS is planned to replace categories entirely, & be tag-based only.

Fixing to head out the door, but cool, I'll be thinking it over. First thing to come in mind is that Sci Fi and fantasy both are such broad categories, tags for some of their more popular subgenres might be useful.
