One of those "If you were in control of a country/government, how would you run it?" things, but with a decent amount of depth to it (unlike Nationstates). Would be in interested in how other people shape it. Also, my economy is kind of whack.

Sort of amusing, but can't be bothered to figure out the budget right now. I was more interested in seeing what rights I could restrict or permit.

Yeah, that's a good one, too. It's mostly only used for presidental candidates (which is why you see it getting brought up most often during election years). Since that's over with, it doesn't have as much appeal.

They've made the test for over 15 countries with elections already and they're adding more every week.

In this last month they added on state congressional candidates, but it wasn't really supported yet. Their tax plan calculator was a cool idea too.

Yeah, they've added stuff to enhance the general premise, but the site just started to match people up with presidential candidates (and is it's biggest selling point), from what I remember.

I tried that, but it was very limiting. I only got through about half the choices before I gave up because so many of them wouldn't let me pick any options I liked.

Has anyone managed to get it all the way into each of the corners? I've gone to the very top and bottom, but my grasp of what constitutes far left and far right is foggy at best. I've managed to push it to the outer regions of Statism and Minarchism, but I can't get much further right or left than the little arrows, without doing something else that diminishes my rightwar or leftward leanings anyway.

I guess it has to do with how your policies are enforced, since it doesn't really ask that much about how you think the government should be run.

I mean, I'm a big fan of multi-party democracies, but that's only because I'm not in power. If I am, I'm going hardcore dictator. Like you can fuck dudes if you want in the People's Totally Democratic And Not Facist Republic of Steve, but you will not question your king.

Apparently I fall under "Progressive Classical Liberalism" and heading toward the minarchism side of the scale.

I govern in a traditional classical liberalism fashion. Oh well...

I didn't fiddle with any of the economic options, aside from pouring more money into planet upkeep, so I'm just a social Liberal.

I just went for the most fucked up, worst country ever. It's Fascist, as you can tell.

Trying to figure out the exact sliders to mess around with to make a SJW paradise, but the social sliders don’t go far enough like mandatory gay marriage or sex changes upon request.

Guess I'll crank up the censorship laws on everything except for religion, and give the death penalty to straight white guys and see if that works.

Cosmopolitan social authoritarianism... Sounds pretty good, everyone is equal under my regimes control!

So I was just slightly left of the midline and a bit towards Statism but only just into the second segment so closer to the middle than statism.

Considering my Imperialistic Monarchy, strict/highish taxes and control over natural resources (Only some profit to investors) I thought I would swing much more Authoritarian but seems like my universal healthcare, funded higher education and allowances in other areas balance it out...

Mostly flexible on some of these policies, providing that it’s going to mostly be profitable for the country (and my private bank account)

I feel like the majority of the military has similar views.
