Well time to ring your big bells and throw rotten fruit at these folks as they walk naked through the streets, because it’s SHAMING time!

Yes once again we mock those that failed the simplest of tasks. Keep in mind, SHAME never goes away just by ignoring it! You MUST redeem yourself if you ever hope to get rid of it, so we go through the current list of the SHAMED from last contest as well as this one!

The saddest of those SHAMED is Romulus who once showed so much promise. Oh well, perhaps one day he will atone for his failure. For now though he is cast down with the rest of the filth and is immersed in SHAME.

And now for those that just can’t seem to learn their lessons and have managed to get SHAMED twice in a row!

Then again, he'll probs join the next and end up shaming everybody else with his entry. Likely.

I am only moderately disappointed in @Romulus because I feel like he has proven himself in the past. Don't make it a habit, Rom!

Congratulations to those who submitted an entry! You guys are the best and we have some seriously great stuff out there. I have read about half of the submitted entries and I'm really excited for the next half. Win or lose, many of you have submitted something to be proud of.

All in all, there's like, two people who are proud of their submissions :I

I don't think that's true. IP, Stryker, WIBN, Ogre, and TheWriterInTheDark all completed something AFAIK. Other authors may have had to cut story portions, but might still be really proud too.

I would assume the stories that went up earliest all represent best efforts.There was no rushing for the deadline in those cases.

Haha, I agree I deserve to be shamed. Though, on the other hand, this does give others the opportunity to catch up in terms of contest wins.

Here's hoping we get a romance contest so I can find a motive to go all in

Unless there are bonus tomatoes being handed out for particularly good jibes at the shamed, or ballads being written on their plight, why is this in the writing workshop?!

It's related to the contest, and there's nowhere else it would fit. 

News & Updates may be a better location if we're formally admiring End's dominion over the fallen. Lounge otherwise. This thread on its own doesn't inspire any writing/toss around ideas/help brainstorm stories. It's definitely a great thread to get the guys who have stumbled motivated into doing something next time, and reminding others to take their commitment seriously. However, taken on its own, I'd say it's out of place

Being shamed publicly kind of makes me happy and will motivate me to write. Maybe I'll write more than two pages in the next contest!

It probably isn't going to be about love since that's too predictable and people might try to cheat by pre-writing a love & dating storygame before the contest has started.
