What are some sad storygames? The only sad one I've read so far was death song.

Yeah snow was pretty sad

Death song was pretty sad, and probably one of the saddest on the site.

This is gonna sound a little odd, but Eternal was pretty sad to me. After I went through nearly every epilogue, I finally get to Eternal Harbinger, and then I have no hope. All of my goals and aspirations (as the eternal, of course) went down the drain. 

EDIT: The Other World (its no longer on this site) was pretty darn sad as well.

Is that the one with the evil lich queen? I never got the real ending. Care to spoil it for me?

I'm not surprised there's a lack of them on the site, especially given the age range around here. 'Sad' is pretty hit or miss, unless the author really knows what they're doing half the time it comes off as eye rolling or overbearing.

I think for something that's bleak and sad you'll probably be able to find it in this storygame here. 

It's somewhat short, but I think its pretty interesting.
