Knowing you're playing with guys named after us is pretty amusing too

I used to do this in X Com, but then all of you would die and make me feel bad.

Easier to do with a RPG since you typically need all your characters to survive due to having various skills to beat the game. So you're typically going to reload when someone dies.

With something like Xcom it's a meat grinder and it's usually easier to replace your losses rather than reload unless you really fuck up.

Do you think the games is okay even for those who don't like strategy games in general?

I mean it's more tactics than grand strategy and even then based on the character builds, your tactics may not need to be that complex.

It's a RPG first, meaning doing quests, killing stuff, gathering loot, leveling up your stats/abilities, picking choices, etc.

The tactics is only going to be the fighting and generally speaking, you just use common sense. Take cover and shoot at the enemies until they're dead (Or if its a melee character, run up on the enemy and chop them up).

Ah, cool. Might have to check it out then. Especially since I prefer melee players v.v Can't play fps even if my life depends on it. Even if I cant ever match up to some characters in terms of "chop[ping] them up" 

Well in keeping with the IMERSHUN, the CYStian Rangers just wasted a bunch of teenagers for acting like retards.

For clarification, a bunch of teenagers from the major families of the city decided to let in a bunch of psychobilly raiders into the city in the hopes of overthrowing the despotic leader known as the Patriarch who we're currently helping out so he'll help us out.

(Yes, we are literally supporting the Patriarchy)

Naturally, this backfired horribly and the raiders just murdered the shit out of anyone they could. After we killed the raiders, the girlfriend of one of those teens had tagged along with us and she naturally was pissed at her boyfriend when she learned he had orchestrated this bright idea resulting in all her family getting killed.

We encouraged her to shoot him and then let him bleed out, then when the rest of the retarded youth attacked us, we killed them all.

Damn, you're making me want to play now. Supporting the Patriarchy sounds like a lot of fun.

NPC follower got all snippy when we were investigating the casino brothel, so we made her sex up all the hookers. Male, female and goat.

After investigating who actually let the raiders in, we took the dude into custody and made a deal with the local crime lord of the city to get one of the city marshals back.

THEN some corrupt marshals wanted us to go arrest the crime lord for letting the raiders into the city even though he wasn't the one responsible. Since the rangers are old pals of the crime lord from back in Vegas, we naturally declined which resulted in a big shoot out in the casino with a bunch of patrons, hookers, criminals and the cops dead.

Looted everything and now the sheriff is pissed at us.

To sum up, everything is still pretty much in character.
