I've been working on a few CYOAs for a while now, and I've found that doing it all in google docs hasn't been working for me. I had started using LucidChart before I realized that I could only do it on my school laptop due to needing a subscription to make any reasonably-sized flowchart with it. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I could use for making an outline or rough draft of the different decision trees that occur within a CYOA? I'm planning on using Obsidian for some of it, but I can't get it on my laptop due to the Chrome extension being blocked.
I think I already checked all of the tools that could be used for an outline in it, and they were either blocked or locked behind a pay wall. I'll check whimsical out again, though.
It isn't blocked, and it seems to be working well for me. Thanks for suggesting it!
You could try to use Canva to maybe make a visual flow chart kind of thing for different branches? I heard about Trizbort being a good website as well, but I never personally tried it..
Edit: Apparently Trizbort is an application not a website!
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've never really liked how Canva organizes all of the tools; it's always a pain to work with when I do try to use it.
I've mapped out CYOAs on paper before, but my parents don't like me using my floor to spread out the thousands of sheets of paper I use, lol.
