That's like sneaking up behind an author and kicking him in the nuts then running away before they see you. Some of these stories are difficult to get through, so people who actually do, logic states, must be the culprits. Don't start stacking up a bunch of 1's out of whatever stunted motivations you have. It's not good for the site or for morale.

I was looking through some of the better stories, and the longer they're up there, the more that happens. One of paul's jumped, and mine jumped from one 1 to ten 1s in a matter of days. I'm sure there are others.

If you're a female author, I'm sure you can modify the above analogy.

You didn't know you could kick someone in the nuts from behind? Right between the legs. I saw it happen once in 7th grade and the kid fell down. First thing on his mind wasn't looking around to see his assailant.

Ouch.  I still think you'd have to sneak up pretty good and the chance of getting the guy's legs is more likely.

If a story was so "stupid" that you thought it was "good" wouldn't you be rating it higher than a 1 since it entertained you?

I've figured out how to solve the problem. Running an IP traceroute program, I am able to find the main bundle from which the rating comes. Then, I just call the company it goes through, claim I am an FBI official, and demand to know which IP cluster hit chooseyourstory.com. They find that quickly, and you then demand the names of that subscriber, which produces a telephone number and address.

So, all I have to do now is wait and then buy a plane ticket! Cool.
