I asked this in my introduction thread but it got lost... So, I saw some awesome drawings that were used in games and I was wandering if I can use them in other sites as profile pics and such (not claiming that they are mine).

So, am I allowed to do so or do I need permission from the author?

Turns out I can't even download them... damnit!

Well you would still need to ask the author where s/he got it and if you can use it. 

Meh, I'll just find an other one then. Just wanted to know the ruling

The photo cant be opened and if I try to open it in a new tab it will download it.

So open the download.

Thats because the extension is bin...right click the file and try to open it as a image.

I cant. I'll try to download it in an other computer

It might work just to change .bin to an extension your pc understand.
